• How Paul Mengert, AMG CEO, Thinks About Education

  • Posted on November 20, 2016
  • The reason Paul Mengert, Association Management Group’s (AMG) CEO, founded the company in 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina was because he loves the community in which he was born and raised and he wanted to give back. His entire life has been in service to two things; education and community. Those twin commitments started when he majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina many years ago, and it has continued ever since. In recent years, he has taught classes as part of a Management Development Program for Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Paul Mengert has also served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute for years and he still teaches classes designed to make homeowners’ associations better. Those classes are commonly used to provide continuing education credits by many groups, such as the South Carolina Department of Real Estate, the North Carolina Board of Realtors, the California Department of Real Estate, the Florida Bureau of Condominiums, and the Georgia Department of Real Estate. Organizations nationwide trust Paul Mengert because of his extensive experience with Associate Management Group and his many years' experience in the industry. Over the years, he has demonstrated a lot of skill as a successful specialist in association management.
